Celebrating AAPI Month
Our annual competition highlights young students who are learning the rich tradition of lion dance, while also promoting the diversity and vibrancy of Asian cultural arts. In addition to lion dance, the competition features performances from various cultural acts, including K-Pop, Tinikling, and traditional Chinese dance, further expanding awareness and appreciation for the diverse cultural heritage within the AAPI community.
This event not only supports the growth of the next generation but also uplifts local businesses. Our Grand Champion prize showcases a local business, promoting their product to the entire school when it’s given out as a prize. All sponsorship funds go directly into building and expanding our youth program, ensuring that more students have access to learning the art of lion dance.​

​Our annual student-run competition is a true showcase of leadership, creativity, and teamwork. High school students take charge of every aspect—from designing flyers and marketing materials to creating competition routines and props.
This event is a great opportunity for real-world experience in event planning, communication, and leadership.
