ABOUT US
LionDanceME was founded in 2012 by Norman Lau, who took a traditional Chinese cultural art and transformed it into a modern entertainment company.
LionDanceMe currently runs school programs at 7 different high schools in San Francisco and works with over 600 students every year in order to spread the art of lion dancing to the future generations.
SERVICES
In Chinese culture, lions are said to bring luck wherever they go, which makes lion dancing the perfect entertainment addition for any special event. We offer many different types of performance packages, from the standard two lion performance to a huge, awe inducing pole routine with ten lions and a dragon.
We can also provide a variety of add-ons for your event, such as a bubble and smoke machine, a money god, a photo booth, custom music tracks, and more! If you're interested in booking a show, contact us below!
STANDARD
A basic lion dance performance with two lions and a music team. Our simplest routine, but definitely skillful enough to make an impact!
HIGH POLES
Our most advanced and high-risk act; any audience will be on the edge of their seats! Dancers jump from poles that reach up to 2.5 meters high, conquering the most difficult challenge known to modern lion dance. Click the image for a sample!
DRUNKEN
A two lion performance with a wine jug as a prop. An easy to understand story that will bring a laugh to any event! Click the image for a sample!
LED LIONS
If the basic lion costume isn't enough, don't worry, we've got you covered! LEDs woven into the lion costume give it an extra artistic flare and are guaranteed to light up the night! Click the image for a sample!
BENCH
In a bench performance, audiences will be wowed by the dancers' high flying acrobatics as they conquer a tall "bridge". Click the image for a sample!
